Beispiel-Dokumentation: NetworkPolicy Troubleshooting

Ziel

Eine funktionierende Verbindung durch Default-Deny brechen und schrittweise korrekt freigeben.

01 / 05

Was gemacht wird

Frontend und Backend funktionieren zuerst ohne Policies. Danach blockiert Default-Deny den Traffic. DNS-Egress und Backend-Traffic werden anschließend getrennt erlaubt.

02 / 05

Typische Kommandos

bash
kubectl apply -f manifests/00-workloads.yaml
kubectl exec -n netpol-troubleshooting deploy/frontend -- wget -qO- http://backend:8080
kubectl apply -f manifests/10-default-deny.yaml
kubectl apply -f manifests/20-allow-dns.yaml
kubectl apply -f manifests/30-allow-backend.yaml
03 / 05

Erfolg prüfen

  • Vor Default-Deny funktioniert der Zugriff.
  • Nach Default-Deny schlägt der Zugriff fehl.
  • Nach DNS- und Backend-Freigabe funktioniert der Zugriff wieder.
04 / 05

Typische Fehler

  • Nur Backend-Ingress wird erlaubt, aber Frontend-Egress vergessen.
  • DNS wird nicht freigegeben.
  • CNI-Plugin unterstützt NetworkPolicies nicht.

The sequence remains unchanged: from the lab skeleton through technical foundations and operating models to final troubleshooting. The technical directory names are deliberately preserved.
