Beispiel-Dokumentation: Ephemeral Debug Container

Ziel

Einen fehlerhaften Pod mit kubectl debug untersuchen.

01 / 05

Was gemacht wird

Das Lab erzeugt einen NGINX-Pod mit kaputter Readiness-Probe. Danach kann ein Ephemeral Container in den Pod eingefügt werden.

02 / 05

Typische Kommandos

bash
kubectl apply -f manifests/
kubectl describe pod broken-web -n debug-lab
kubectl debug -n debug-lab -it broken-web --image=busybox:1.36.1 --target=web
03 / 05

Erfolg prüfen

  • Der Pod läuft, wird aber nicht bereit.
  • describe zeigt fehlgeschlagene Readiness-Probes.
  • kubectl debug startet einen temporären Debug-Container.
04 / 05

Typische Fehler

  • RBAC erlaubt pods/ephemeralcontainers nicht.
  • Debug Container werden mit normalen Sidecars verwechselt.
  • Nicht jeder Runtime-/Cluster-Setup erlaubt dieselben Debug-Funktionen.
