Beispiel-Dokumentation: Worker Queue

Ziel

Eine asynchrone Verarbeitung mit Queue, Producer, Worker-Skalierung und Netzwerkbegrenzung nachvollziehen.

01 / 05

Was gemacht wird

Das Lab startet Redis als Queue, schreibt per Job fünf Aufträge hinein und verarbeitet sie mit mehreren Worker-Pods. Ein HPA beschreibt die Zielskalierung, auch wenn die tatsächliche Metrik-Auswertung einen Metrics Server braucht.

02 / 05

Typische Kommandos

bash
kubectl apply -f manifests/
kubectl get deploy,job,hpa,pdb -n queue-lab
kubectl logs -n queue-lab job/queue-producer
kubectl logs -n queue-lab deployment/queue-worker --tail=50
kubectl scale deployment queue-worker -n queue-lab --replicas=4
03 / 05

Erfolg prüfen

  • Redis und Worker sind bereit.
  • Der Producer-Job endet mit Complete.
  • Worker-Logs zeigen verarbeitete order-*-Einträge.
  • Die NetworkPolicies erlauben Redis-Zugriff nur für Producer und Worker.
04 / 05

Typische Fehler

  • Worker starten vor Redis und brauchen mehrere Probe-Zyklen.
  • HPA zeigt unknown, wenn der Metrics Server fehlt.
  • Queue-Daten gehen verloren, weil Redis in diesem Lab keinen PVC verwendet.

The sequence remains unchanged: from the lab skeleton through technical foundations and operating models to final troubleshooting. The technical directory names are deliberately preserved.
