Beispiel-Dokumentation: Kubernetes Jobs und CronJobs

Ziel

Batch-Workloads mit klarer Laufzeit, Logs, Wiederholungsregeln und automatischem Cleanup verstehen.

01 / 05

Was gemacht wird

Das Lab erstellt einen einmaligen Job, der eine Prüfsumme berechnet, und einen CronJob, der alle 15 Minuten einen Report-Job erzeugt.

02 / 05

Typische Kommandos

bash
kubectl apply -f manifests/
kubectl get job,cronjob,pod -n batch-lab
kubectl logs -n batch-lab job/checksum-once
kubectl describe cronjob cleanup-report -n batch-lab
03 / 05

Erfolg prüfen

  • checksum-once erreicht den Zustand Complete.
  • Die Logs enthalten eine SHA-256-Prüfsumme.
  • Der CronJob zeigt Zeitplan, History-Limits und Concurrency-Policy.
04 / 05

Typische Fehler

  • restartPolicy fehlt oder passt nicht zur Job-Art.
  • Cron-Ausdruck ist zu aggressiv für Trainingscluster.
  • Fehlende History-Limits lassen alte Jobs unübersichtlich anwachsen.

The sequence remains unchanged: from the lab skeleton through technical foundations and operating models to final troubleshooting. The technical directory names are deliberately preserved.
