Capability Contracts as a knowledge source

This article explains domain or technical background. Applying it in Orthevs requires a suitable Contract, an accountable capability and verifiable outcomes.

Core idea

Capability Contracts

A capability contract describes more than an API call. It connects identity, inputs, outputs, errors, permissions, resources, artifacts, evidence, observability and lifecycle for a capability.

Role in Orthevs

Orthevs Ecosystem

Labs publish capabilities through versioned contracts. Foundations reference these contracts instead of accessing internal implementations or databases directly.

Context and boundaries

Context and boundaries

A contract does not replace domain suitability assessment.

Compatibility must be evidenced by tests and real consumers.
