Engines

Reusable execution behind capabilities.

Engines are specialist mechanisms for processing, computation, simulation, orchestration and execution. They use versioned definitions and are integrated into engineering processes through authorized capabilities and controlled contracts.

Engine profile

An engine executes. The contract constrains and explains.

This section describes planned shared engines in the target model. Whether an engine runs centrally, per Lab or embedded depends on isolation, scale, data ownership and domain ownership.

Engines · Orthevs

Engines process explicit engineering definitions.

Engines are technical mechanisms for rule resolution, computation, orchestration, simulation or execution. They use versioned inputs and scoped permissions; AI may extend them but is not required.
